DRIFTWOOD CHRONICLE · PUBLISHER NOTES
Reviews should describe an experience, not sell a service
The community section accepts first-hand accounts about the company named on the page. Positive and negative experiences are considered under the same standards.
Make the experience understandable
Explain what service you used, when it happened and what the company did in response. Select the rating that reflects that interaction. Keep enough context to make the account useful without revealing private booking, order or account references.
What does not belong in a review
Unrelated phone promotions, referral advertisements, copied testimonials, invented experiences, threats, discriminatory abuse and confidential personal information are not suitable for publication. A review should not pose as an official company announcement.
The publication queue
A new review waits for moderation before it appears publicly. The publisher considers relevance, privacy and compliance with this policy. That check is not a verification of every claim or proof that a transaction occurred. Empty sections remain empty until acceptable contributions are received.
Fair treatment of praise and criticism
A critical opinion is not, by itself, a reason for rejection. The same content standards apply to a recommendation or complaint. Material may be withheld or removed when a substantiated relevance, authenticity or privacy concern arises.
Report a problem with published text
Use the report control or contact the publisher with the company page and the review concerned. Explain the issue without reposting sensitive information. A report initiates a moderation review; it does not automatically establish that the contribution is false.
